Come and meet Derek, Susan and the devoted
young staff of Boesmanland Plaaskombuis.
Susan has a passion for making food the old traditional way - like
her ma (mother) use to. All the dishes are prepared on open fires
in big black pots every day and served on enamel plates. Their famous
Soetsuurdeeg bread is prepared with a salt and potato ferment yeast
and baked in a wood fired oven. Here you drink vaaljapie with the
owner and not the manager.
